If the root is corrupted, the branches, twigs, and fruits are all corrupted.
- Death Spread to All: Romans 5:12 says, “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned.” Adam was the representative for all of us.
- The Representative Principle: For example, if a king goes to war and surrenders, the entire nation is considered defeated. Similarly, when Adam submitted to Satan, all of us—his descendants—became slaves to sin. This is a natural, systemic law.
