- 🛡️ స్పృహ లేకపోవడం కాదు: “మరణము అయిన వారికి నిన్ను గూర్చిన జ్ఞాపకము లేదు.. పాతాళములో ఎవరు నీకు కృతజ్ఞతా స్తుతులు చెల్లించుదురు?” అని భక్తుడు అన్నాడు. అక్కడ విషయం ఏంటంటే – అసలు పాతాళానికి పోయినటువంటి మృతులకు అసలు స్పృహే (Consciousness) లేదని అక్కడ చెప్పడం లేదు. వాళ్ళకి స్పృహే లేదని కాదు.. వారికి ‘దేవుని గూర్చిన జ్ఞాపకం’ లేదు.
- 🧱 భూమి మీది సంబంధం: దేవుని గూర్చిన జ్ఞాపకం ఎప్పుడు ఉంటది? ఈ భూమి మీద ఉన్నప్పుడు దేవునితో నడిస్తే ఆ జ్ఞాపకాలు ఉంటాయి. భూమి మీద ఉన్నప్పుడు దేవునితో నడిచిన వాడు పాతాళ అగ్గిలోకి పోడు, పరదేశిలోకి (Paradise) వెళ్తాడు. దేవునితో సంబంధం లేకుండా బ్రతికిన వాడు మాత్రమే పాతాళ అగ్గిలోకి పోతాడు.

- ⚖️ దేవునితో నడవని వారి స్థితి: అక్కడ దేవుని గూర్చిన జ్ఞాపకం లేదు అంటున్నాడు అంటే – వాడు భూమి మీద దేవునితో సంబంధం లేకుండా బ్రతికాడు గనుక పాతాళ అగ్గిలోకి పోయినాడు. వాడు దేవుని ఎరుగడు గనుక వాడికి దేవుని జ్ఞాపకం ఉండదు. కానీ వాడికి తన కుటుంబం, తన పాపాలు, తన పాత జీవితం అంతా గుర్తొస్తాయి (ధనవంతుడికి తన తమ్ముళ్లు గుర్తొచ్చినట్లు).

❓ Question: Psalm 6:5 states, “For in death there is no remembrance of You; in the grave who will give You thanks?” If the rich man in Hades remembered his five brothers, why does it say there is no memory of God? What is the state of human consciousness after death?
- Not a Loss of Consciousness: The scripture says, “In death there is no remembrance of You.” This does not mean that those who die and go to Hades lose all consciousness. It specifically says they have no ‘remembrance of God.’
- The Earthly Connection: When do we have memories of God? We have them if we walk with God while on this earth. A person who walks with God on earth does not go to the fires of Hades; they go to Paradise. Only those who live without a relationship with God end up in the fires of Hades.
- State of those in Hades: The reason it says they have no memory of God is that they lived their entire lives without Him. Since they never knew God, they have no memories of Him to carry into the afterlife. However, they do remember their family, their sins, and their past life (just as the rich man remembered his brothers).
- Sweet Memories of Fellowship: For those who live in fellowship with God, there will certainly be memories of Him after death. They will remember the sweet experiences of walking with God on earth and will also see Him face to face. Therefore, this verse refers to the spiritual state of unbelievers in Hades who have no connection with the Creator.
