❓ Question: Satan is the hater of souls. Why does he kill his own followers in accidents and drag them to hell? What is his calculation in bringing so many humans to eternal fire?
- The Limitation of Hell: Anything created is limited. The intensity and heat of hell have a limit. For example, if one person is forced to drink a drum of water, it’s torture. But if a million people drink one spoonful each, the drum is emptied easily.
- Sharing the Wrath: Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41). Satan calculates that by bringing billions of humans with him, the heat and suffering will be proportionately shared, perhaps lessening his own burden.
- The Leprosy Technique: In ‘Universe History,’ I compared sin to leprosy. A leper loses the sense of touch. Satan plots to have spiritual ‘leprosy’ so he won’t feel the fire. However, God, the Healer and Judge, will ‘heal’ his leprosy so that he truly feels the punishment.
