- 🍷 త్రాగడం తప్పు – అర్పించడం కాదు: మద్యమును మనము తాగితే తప్పు గానీ, దేవుడు దానిని తాగడం లేదు. పానార్పణముగా దానిని నేల మీద పోయిస్తున్నారు. దేవునికి అర్పించి నేల మీద పోసినప్పుడు, అది మళ్ళీ మానవునికి అందుబాటులో ఉండదు. అంటే, “ఇది నాకు అక్కరలేదు” అని మనకు హానికరమైన దానిని దేవునికి అర్పించేస్తున్నాం.

- 📖 లేఖన సత్యం: కీర్తనలు 50:12-13లో దేవుడు స్పష్టంగా చెప్పాడు: “నేను ఆకలిగొనినను నీతో చెప్పను… వృషభముల మాంసము నేను తిందునా? పొట్టేళ్ల రక్తము నేను త్రాగుదునా?”. కాబట్టి దేవునికి మనం అర్పించేది ఆయన తింటాడని కాదు.

- Consumption is Sin, Not Offering: It is a sin if we consume alcohol, but God does not consume it. It is poured out on the ground as a drink offering. Once it is offered to God and poured out, it is no longer available to humans. This means we are offering something harmful to us to God, saying, “I do not need this.”
- The Purpose of Sacrifice: Would a true alcoholic ever pour expensive liquor onto the ground? They would give their life for it. When we offer harmful habits or substances to God, the Holy Spirit consumes them. Consequently, those things can no longer harm us.
- The Function of the Altar: God does not take it and drink it. Whatever is poured onto the Burnt Altar either evaporates or turns to ashes. The purpose of the Altar is not for God to consume food, but for Him to burn away or incinerate what is harmful to us.
- Scriptural Truth: In Psalm 50:12-13, God clearly states: “If I were hungry, I would not tell you… Do I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats?” Therefore, what we offer to God is not for His consumption.
- Conclusion: The Altar is the place where God burns away and removes things from us that are displeasing and detestable to Him. Since He does not want us to be addicted to strong drink, He commanded that even that be poured out there to be destroyed.
