- 🛡️ పాపము చేయుట vs పాపమును అభ్యాసము చేయుట: “దేవుని మూలంగా పుట్టిన వాడు పాపము చేయడు” (1 యోహాను 3:9) అంటే, వాడు పాపమును ఒక అలవాటుగా లేదా వృత్తిగా (Practice) చేసుకోడు అని అర్థం. లోకస్థుడు పాపంలో ఆనందిస్తాడు, కానీ దేవుని బిడ్డ పొరపాటున పడినా, ఆ పాపం వాడికి మనశ్శాంతిని ఇవ్వదు. వెంటనే పశ్చాత్తాపపడి తిరిగి దేవుని యొద్దకు వస్తాడు.

- 📈 క్రమబద్ధమైన ఆత్మీయ ఎదుగుదల: విశ్వాసి దేవుని వాక్యాన్ని వింటున్న కొద్దీ, ఆత్మీయంగా ఎదుగుతున్న కొద్దీ దేవుడు ఆ శరీర కార్యాలను (Works of the flesh) క్రమంగా వాడి లోపల నుంచి తొలగిస్తాడు. ఒకానొక దశలో వాడు పాపము చేయాలని అనుకున్నా చేయలేనంతగా దైవ స్వభావం వాడిలో స్థిరపడుతుంది.

👶 Question: The Epistle of John says, “Whoever is born of God does not sin, nor can he sin.” Yet, we see certain works of the flesh even in saved believers. How should we understand this?
- Sinning vs. Practicing Sin: “He who is born of God does not sin” (1 John 3:9) means that he does not make sin a habit or a practice. While a worldly person finds pleasure in sin, a child of God finds no peace in it even if they stumble. They immediately repent and return to God.
- The Example of a Toddler’s Walk: Just as a small child learning to walk takes faltering steps and falls repeatedly before mastering it, a believer’s early spiritual life is similar. We don’t judge a falling child by saying, “He can’t walk,” do we? Similarly, the spiritual stumbles of a believer do not mean they aren’t saved.
- Progressive Spiritual Growth: As a believer continues to listen to the Word and grows spiritually, God gradually removes those works of the flesh from within them. Eventually, they reach a stage where the divine nature is so established that they cannot sin even if they wanted to.
- It Takes Time: It takes time to completely wash away the old stains of the mind and the filth of the world. However, one truly born of God cannot persist in sin because God’s seed remains in them.
