- Desire and Longing: God is the Savior, but He grants salvation only to those who long for it. He does not force anything upon anyone. Although the Lord desires everyone to be saved, those who reject it saying “we don’t want it” will not receive it.
- God’s Foreknowledge: God knew even before the foundation of the world who would hear the Gospel and respond. In His foreknowledge, He predetermined those who would look toward Him.
- What Predestination Means: God predestined those who would hear the Gospel and desire it. He did not choose those He knew would reject it because predestining them would yield no result. God is not the cause of their unbelief; rather, their unbelief is a fact known to God beforehand.
- The Glorious Will of God: I have explained this mystery in my book ‘The Glorious Will of God.’ To understand the relationship between God’s sovereign will and human desire, one must read this book.
