- ⚖️ శిక్షకు పాత్రుడు: దేవుడు ఫరో హృదయాన్ని కఠినపరిచాడు అని చెప్పేసి చాలా మంది ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతున్నారు. దేవుడే కఠినపరిచి దేవుడే శిక్షించడం న్యాయమా అని? అబ్బబ్బే! కఠినపరిచి శిక్షించడం కాదు, అంతకు ముందే వాడు శిక్షకు పాత్రుడు గనుక శిక్షకు వాడిని ఎప్పుడో దేవుడు కేటాయించాడు. వాడు సత్య దేవుడు అంటే వాడికి ఇష్టం లేదు, వ్యర్థ దేవతలను పూజిస్తున్నాడు, యెహోవాను తృణీకరించాడు.

- 🛡️ దేవుని శక్తి ప్రదర్శన: నిర్గమకాండము 7:4లో దేవుడు అన్నాడు – “నేను నా చెయ్యి ఐగుప్తు మీద వేసి గొప్ప తీర్పుల చేత నా ప్రజలను వెలుపలికి రప్పించెదను.. అప్పుడు ఐగుప్తీయులు నేను యెహోవానని తెలుసుకొందురు.” ఈ మాట దేవుడు అనకముందే ఫరో యొక్క భయంకరమైన మనస్తత్వం ఎలా ఉన్నదో చూడండి. నిర్గమకాండము 1:15లో – “హెబ్రీ స్త్రీలకు మగవాడు పుడితే చంపేయండి” అని ఆజ్ఞాపించిన ద్రాష్టుడు వీడు.

- Already Deserving of Judgment: Many ask if it’s fair for God to harden Pharaoh’s heart and then punish him. It wasn’t about hardening an innocent man; Pharaoh was already deserving of punishment long before that. He hated the true God, worshipped idols, and despised the Lord.
- Fullness of Sin: Pharaoh had severely oppressed God’s people. To execute full judgment, his sin had to reach its peak. If he had let the Israelites go immediately, how would God’s power be displayed? God needed to demonstrate His sovereignty.
- Demonstration of Sovereignty: In Exodus 7:4, God said He would lay His hand on Egypt with great acts of judgment so that the Egyptians would know He is the Lord. Even before God spoke of hardening him, Pharaoh’s cruelty was evident. In Exodus 1:15, he ordered the slaughter of every Hebrew male infant.
- A Cruel Nature: Who gets the idea to kill newborn babies? Was he even human? He had already murdered hundreds. He was already a cursed and hardened man who hated the truth. While the previous King respected Joseph, this new King chose to torment Israel.
