Scripture states that the Lord will descend with a shout and the voice of an archangel, and the dead in Christ will rise first. For a resurrection to occur, the Lord must descend with this shout and trumpet call. According to the Split Rapture theory, the Lord would have to descend with this ‘shout’ twice, which contradicts the Word.
