❓ Question: When God speaks to us during prayer, how can we identify if it is the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit? How can we distinguish between Their voices?
- A Unified Voice: Identifying which person of the Trinity is speaking is an unnecessary curiosity. Spiritually and practically, it makes no difference because the Godhead is inseparably unified. If the Son speaks, His opinion will be identical to that of the Father and the Spirit.
- The Role of the Holy Spirit: In this present age, God communicates with mankind primarily through the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised another Comforter who would dwell ‘in’ us and ‘with’ us. Therefore, any divine communication we receive today is mediated through the Holy Spirit.
- No Second Opinions: Unlike some ancient mythologies where different deities might conflict, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit always act in perfect harmony. There is no such thing as a “second opinion” within the Trinity.
