- Knowledge vs. Love: There is one who knows a great deal about God but is utterly base and wicked—Satan. None of us know as much about God as Satan does, yet he does not love God; he hates Him. The reverse is true for a devotee—they may not fully know God, yet they worship and love Him.
- Sincere Devotion: In matters of holiness, loving God, and submitting to Him, great saints stand at heights unreachable by us. A small child knows nothing about their father’s complexities, yet loves him sincerely. Love should be like that—relational, not just doctrinal.
